Acumatica Configuration

REST Web Services and Token-Based Authentication must be enabled in Acumatica.

Authorization

Martus access to Acumatica is via token-based authentication. Client Credentials are via a Machine-to-Machine Grant.

Integration Features

Current Features

Sync accounts and dimension from Acumatica – each weeknight via the nightly automated sync and ad hoc.
Sync GL transactions from the accounting system each weeknight. The nightly sync updates the current and previous two full months. Ad hoc sync is available to sync any desired range of months at any time.

Dimension Setup

As with any Martus configuration, the implementation team works with the customer to identify the dimensions that are important to budgeting and reporting. Martus supports a maximum of 8 dimensions.

Organization/Company and Branch are combined into a single dimension in Martus. Organizations (Companies) are parents, Branches are child dimension values.
Project and Task are supported. Martus respects the relationship between projects and tasks, so users can't budget to an invalid Project/Task combination.
Acumatica uses Subaccounts to provide tracking similar to other dimensions, such as Department, Region, Program, Funding Source, etc.
Martus can define multiple segments within a Subaccount. The dimensions configured in Martus should match the segments that are active for budgeting and reporting.

Syncing Martus to Acumatica

The sync from Acumatica runs overnight on weekdays for all GL accounts and dimensions, as well as syncing all actuals for the current and two previous months, as is standard for Martus API Integrations. Ad hoc sync is available as well.

Pulling Budgets from Acumatica

Not yet supported. However, budgets can be exported from Acumatica, formatted to match the Martus template, and imported into Martus.

Statistical Accounts

Not yet supported.

Display of attachments

Not yet supported, will be supported in the near future.
