This session illustrates two ways to obtain forecast reports from Martus
- Forecast Report (Standard financials report)
- Forecast - Economic Scenarios Report (ReportBuilder)
Comparing budget to actuals is one way to see if your strategies are working. The Dashboard > Financials > Forecast Report is one of the standard Martus Financial reports. It is very useful to give you a quick look at where your actuals stand, relative to budget, as you move through the year.
The Dashboard > Report Builder > Forecast - Economic Scenarios Report is a template within Martus ReportBuilder that compares actuals to an original approved budget and a reforecast budget. You can use this template as is, or you can modify it to fit your particular needs. This video walks through making changes to data sources, updating the output of the report, and adding line-level notes.
NOTE: The ReportBuilder template is a recent addition to Martus, and access to the ReportBuilder depends on your organization's subscription contract.
