Sample User Roles

The following are sample User Roles that are now being deployed with new Martus environments. These roles may be edited within your system so ensure to review the roles in your system for the exact permissions associated with each role.

Admin

This role should only be assigned to Admins. It allows for full access to Martus and any dimension restrictions are ignored.

Access:

• Admin

IT Staff - SSO Setup

This role should only be assigned to the IT staff member(s) who are responsible for configuring Single Sign On (SSO) for your environment. 

Access: 

• IT - Grants access to the Setup > SSO page.

Advanced Budgeter

This role is typically assigned to supervisors or approvers who require all the access of a Basic Budgeter, plus access to Global Special Purpose Worksheets, Forecasts, and ReportBuilder.

• Dashboard - Financials
• Dashboard - ReportBuilder
• Planner - Summary
• Planner - Worksheets
• Planner - Global SPWs
• Planner - Forecasts

Basic Budgeter

This role is typically assigned to budget managers who are responsible for the work of budgeting. It allows basic access to Worksheets as well as to the financial reports.

Access:

• Dashboard - Financials
• Planner - Summary
• Planner - Worksheets

Reports Only

This is a read-only role with access to only Dashboard Financials and Planner Summary reports.
