Martus offers the flexibility of creating multiple profiles for a user. Profiles allow you to assign more than one set of roles and permissions to a user. Secondary profiles allow a single user to access Martus with different set of user permissions and dimension restrictions. A user can have as many profiles as needed. Martus does not require additional user licenses per profile.
Why use multiple user profiles?
Profiles have different permissions and dimension restrictions. Examples include:
- The HR director needs access to all of Personnel in one profile, but should only be able to access the budget worksheets for her department in her other profile.
- A department director will need to view financials across multiple locations in one profile, but should only be able to edit worksheets for his department in another
- A department manager needs to review a consolidated report with only three out of his/her five departments.
